Violin Multi-Tuner app good for
Tuner, metronome and fingering chart. Everything you need. I have tried other tuners. This is the best.
Try it - youll like it. I am a novice violin player and have been using this app for a couple years now. I does everything I need and keeps getting better. The only thing Id really like to see added is an AirPlay button so I can run it through my audio system speakers.
I absolutely love this app and have used it everyday for the last two years. It helps me with tuning, understanding of notes on the fingerboard and even my intonation when playing. The most recent upgrades including the 5-string violin feature are most welcome.
My only complaint is that the most recent upgrade makes it impossible to track intonation while playing - a feature I have used daily. The graphical output of playing a few notes is delayed up to 5 seconds whereas the older version graphed intonation at the speed I played.
Still, this is best violin app that I have found. Well done!
Some bad moments
The app was so good before all these updates, now with this update the pitch is freezing all the time, I mean this was my favorite app but now I dont even use it since the updates broke it, please fix
Its great to play with, but can you conclude shifting notes in there too ?
I would of given this app 5 stars but only if I dont have to update my iOS to
5.0 Overall, it is a great app for those musicians out there, but the only problem is it doesnt support older software versions of the iPod/phone.
Dev,
Im completely new to music, and have never touched an instrument before. I decided to learn the violin since I like the sound.
How do I use this tuner to tune my violin? There are no instructions that I can find and the tones from this tuner sound fake.
Help please!
Offers generated tuning tones for individual strings in one screen. In another offers bowed and unbowed actual violin recordings and allows automated play for all scales of any key in major and minor. Shows the fingerboard graphically overlaid with either note names or staff notation. Perhaps a hoity toity jumped up pro could ask for more, but no one else would.
Great for tuning (and alternate tunings) and also for learning the major and minor scales and the fingerboard in general. Thanks!
